I cant believe febuary is already ended. I almost forgot there are usually 28 or 29 days in febuary, and i really dont know how many days there are in this year's febuary. What ever be the case, i have to update this blog before this month ends, even if it means doing it on the very last munite. Ok, as for this month i've very busy trying to get the media initiative running, and incase u never knew about it, yes, me and a couple of us are currently trying to get our media outfit running. My boss traveled and left me with so much of the official time to do my private runz; how convinient. Last week i conducted an interview while also helping to plan my brother's wedding and the next day, i played the role of the best man in the wedding, and i must say, the wedding went well. Accepted that when i say the wedding went well, i'm simply speaking from the perspetive of the guests. If i'm to speak from the perspective of all of us that planed and executed the event, you'll agree with me that it was the garce of God that made that wedding a success. I wont say more on that.

Happy new year you all. I believe it's not too late to say happy new year. So finally it's 2009 and as usual the month of january seems to be draging but towards the end, it seems to be galoping. Hi all, another xmas has come and gone and for your information, this is going to be last update for this. Talking
about update, i only update my blog once a month and it takes a great deal of effort on my part to do that. But each
time i go to my favourite blogs linda ikeji and ayeni the great and discover it's not been updated like say in the last
one week, i get kind of angry and wonder why they just cant update their blog very often. If they cant be updating why
start it in the first place. What do we call that? carrying a big log on one's eye and talking about another person
with only a speck in his eyes. Fendi 2009 is aound the corner and you better change your ways.
Talikg about 2008, how was 2008? At first i thought i didn't acheive much, considering the fact say i never hammer, but
come to think of it, i made slow steady progress and also did alot that'll eventually shape my 2009, the year of Fendi.

Cloud Computing + Bragelina Pitt + Must they

In my last post I a little on tech and I’ve decided to follow suite with another. This time around it is cloud computing
First it was web services but now it is cloud computing. I’ve been coming across the word cloud computing but it was only after the Microsoft's Professional Developer Conference that I came to understand what it is all about. I wonder what next. Below is what I was able to scoop on cloud computing.

Dubbed Windows Azure, it's less a replacement for the operating system that runs on one's own PC than it is an alternative for developers, intended to let them write programs that live inside Microsoft's data centers as opposed to on the servers of a given business.
"It's a transformation of our software and a transformation of our strategy," said Ray Ozzie, a computing industry pioneer who now serves as Microsoft's chief software architect Microsoft first outlined a shift to "Live Services" at an event in San Francisco in 2005. The company has released a few things piecemeal, such as Live Mesh, but Monday's announcement marked the first real discussion of how Microsoft's disparate Internet strategies fit together.
With the launch of Azure, Microsoft will find itself in competition with other providers of Internet storage and computing services including Amazon, Salesforce.com, and Rackspace.
Ozzie said he was tipping his cap to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for innovating the hosted computing model. Amazon "established a base-level design pattern, architecture models, and business models that we'll all learn from," he said.
Microsoft is making Windows Azure in preview form to developers, with a limited subset of the features that it plans to have in the product before its final release.

There weren't many details on how Microsoft will charge for Azure, saying it will be free during the preview period.Final pricing, Ozzie said, "will be competitive with the marketplace."
The company itself plans to offer businesses the option of running over the Internet the kinds of software that have traditionally run on a company's own servers. Microsoft already sells its Exchange corporate e-mail software in this
way, but that is just the beginning, said Microsoft vice president Dave Thompson.
"All our enterprise software will be delivered as an online service as an option," Thompson said.

Vista SP2 beta due next week

For a change let me give you guys a bit of tech info. I know most of you have experienced windows vista, the latest windows operating system. There was a great buzz about it prior to its release but since after it’s release it has received a lot negative reviews from a lot of people, me included. But for the fact that Microsoft already has a pact with many of computer manufacturers, they ship their computer with all the flaws of vista. I love my XP SP2 and I’m not in a hurry to adopt vista. I’ll wait till all the errors of vista has been corrected before I migrate.
At a point Microsoft decided to hoodwink their users. They created a website that has nothing Microsoft on it and asked people to go to the site and evaluate a new product. People went to site after many had evaluated the product confessed they loved it. Unknowing to them the product they were evaluating was vista.
Microsoft is aware of the many flaws of vista and has been working very hard to remedy them. The latest in their effort is the release of vista SP2 the beta version. Read about it below.

The next update to Windows Vista will enter beta testing next week, bringing with it support for Blu-ray drives, among other enhancements.
As is normal with me I’ll go ahead and give you a brief description of blu-ray disc.
Blu-ray Disc (also known as Blu-ray or BD) is an optical disc storage medium. Its main uses are high-definition video and data storage. The disc has the same physical dimensions as standard DVDs and CDs.
The name Blu-ray Disc is derived from the blue laser (violet-colored) used to read and write this type of disc. Because of the beam's shorter wavelength (405 nanometres), substantially more data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc than on the DVD format, which uses a red (650 nm) laser. A two-layer Blu-ray Disc can store 50 gigabytes, almost six times the capacity of a two-layer DVD, or ten times that of a single-layer DVD.
During the format war over high-definition optical discs, Blu-ray Disc competed with the HD DVD format. On February 19, 2008, Toshiba—the main company supporting HD DVD—announced that it would no longer develop, manufacture, and market HD DVD players and recorders,[2] leading almost all other HD DVD companies to follow suit, effectively ending the format war.
Blu-ray Disc was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association, a group representing makers of consumer electronics, computer hardware, and motion pictures. As of October 21, 2008, more than 970 Blu-ray Disc titles have been released in the United States and more than 540 Blu-ray Disc titles have been released in Japan. There are expected to be over 1300 Blu-ray Disc titles released in the United States by the end of 2008.

I hope that wasn’t too much information. Anyway back to beta version of vista SP2.

In a blog posting on Friday, Microsoft confirmed that a beta version of Windows Vista Service Pack 2 will be released next week.
"Because we've adopted a single serviceability model, these improvements are integrated into a single service pack covering both Windows Vista (client) and Windows Server 2008 (server) versions," Windows executive Mike Nash said in a blog. "This should also minimize deployment and testing complexity for our customers."
The software maker said earlier this week that it was working on Vista SP2, but wouldn't go into detail. A support document posted this month, however, suggested a beta version was in the offing.
In addition to Blu-ray, Vista SP2 will add support for Bluetooth 2.1 as well as include Windows Search 4.0, the latest version of Microsoft's desktop search technology.
Microsoft encouraged those thinking about upgrading to Vista not to wait for SP2, however.
"One question I know that you will ask is 'should I wait for SP2?'," Nash said. "The reality is that Windows Vista SP1 is a great platform that is both available on new Windows PCs and available as a free download for systems that are running the 'gold' release of Windows Vista. While we will recommend SP2 when it ships, your best bet today is Windows Vista SP1."
Update: Asked about when Microsoft might ship SP2, a representative responded that "it is too early to talk about SP2's final release date."
"As always, the final release date is based on quality and we will track customer and partner feedback from the beta program before setting a final date for distribution," the representative said.
The announcement comes ahead of next week's Professional Developer Conference, where Microsoft is expected to detail Windows 7, as well as give developers a pre-beta version.

The Olympics has come and gone and usual our darling country performed poorly. We won three bronze and one silver making it a total of four medals, and we were ranked forty-four out of the eighty-one countries that participated. The list ranked was sixty-nine.
Some new records were set and some old ones broken. The overall organization of the event by China was superb and the next stage for Olympics is London come 2012. The Beijing Olympics was said to be the most expensive to host as it cost China over 40 billion to host and the rest of the other bla blab bla.

In last four Olympics, I’ve noticed a winning trend. Six countries always get to find themselves among the first eight and these countries are USA, China, Great Britain, Germany and Australia.
In Atlanta 96 USA came first then Russia, Germany, China, France, Italy, Australia and Cuba.
In Sydney 2000 it was USA, Russia, China, Australia, Germany, France, Italy and Netherlands. In Athens 2004 it was USA, China, Russia, Australia, Japan, Germany, Franc and Italy.
This year’s own at China was China, USA, Russia, GB, Germany, Australia, Korea and Japan.
I know that at the end of the Vision 2020 program by the federal Government, we will sure break into that top rank. So help us God.

BOSNIAN POLICE ARRESTS A PIGEON

BOSNIAN police have impounded a pigeon after discovering prisoners used it to smuggle drugs into one of the country's highest security jails, an official said today.
"The guards suspected the animal might be involved in drug smuggling once they noticed four prisoners visibly intoxicated shortly after the pigeon landed on a prison window," Zenica prison official Josip Pojavnik said.All four inmates had tested positive for heroin, said Mr Pojavnik, adding disciplinary proceedings had been launched against the inmates.

The drugs had probably been stuffed into tiny bags attached to the legs of the carrier pigeon, which one of the prisoners had previously been allowed to keep as a pet in his cell, he said.

"We suspect that the pigeon carried the drugs from Tuzla," a town around 70km north-east of Zenica in central Bosnia, he said.

The pigeon had been taken into custody by police, who have launched an investigation aimed at identifying those who had loaded it up with the drugs.

"We do not know what to do with the pigeon, but for the time being it will remain behind bars," Mr Pojavnik said.

The incident had prompted the prison administration to consider closing down a prisoner pigeon-breeding project established in a ward of the jail as part of a rehabilitation program.


BROTHER AND SISTER HIRES A HITMAN TO KILL DAD TO PREVENT MONEY GOING TO JEHOVA WITNESS

A FORMER teacher and her brother who hired a hitman to murder their elderly father were simply driven by greed, a court has been told.

Maria Angelina Stallone, 44, and Dominic Anthony Natale, 46, are accused of plotting to have their 83-year-old father Dominico Natale murdered in September, 2006.But their plans were foiled when the hitman they hired was an undercover policeman, the Victorian Supreme Court has been told.

Ms Stallone, of Fitzroy, and Mr Natale, of Irymple near Mildura, have each pleaded guilty to one count of incitement to murder.

Prosecutor Geoffrey Horgan SC said the pair had acted out of fear they would miss out on their share of family properties their father was selling in Preston and North Fitzroy in Melbourne.

He said the pair believed the money would end up going to the Jehovah's Witnesses.

"This crime is a particularly unpalatable one. It's motivated simply by greed,"

"She said she didn't want him to suffer but he was going to turf them out and wasn't treating them as his own children,"

Hi all. We have are coming to the end of another month and then I realized that I’ve not updated my blog for the month of July, so here I am updating my blog.
My blog for this month will be all about women. I’ll start by telling you about the man that successfully delivered a baby girl. Don’t think I’m reneging on my promise to make it an all women affair this month, but come to think of it; is it not the prerogative of women to make babies? So if a man puts to bed, it’s still a women affair. By the way the man’s name is Thomas Beatie.

It's been three weeks since his blue-eyed baby debuted in this world, but Thomas Beatie – better known around the world as the Pregnant Man – can already say this about his daughter's personality: "She's easygoing and mellow and intelligent."

On June 29 at 8:55 p.m., Beatie, 34, a former female beauty pageant contestant, made cultural history as perhaps the first legally transgender male to give birth, bringing into the world a 9 lbs., 5 oz. baby girl named Susan Juliette.

Let’s try and explain “transgender”.
"Transgender" does not imply any specific form of sexual orientation; transgender people may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, or asexual. The precise definition for transgender remains in flux, but includes:
• "Of, relating to, or designating a person whose identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender roles, but combines or moves between these."[1]
• "People who were assigned a sex, usually at birth and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves."[2]

"She's so precious, I just can't stop staring at her," Thomas tells PEOPLE in his first interview since he and wife Nancy returned with their bundle from Bend, Oregon's St. Charles Medical Center. "Just holding her is the best feeling in the world."

Susan – named after Thomas's mother and conceived through artificial insemination with donor sperm – arrived after 40 hours of labor, with Nancy at Thomas's side acting as his coach.

"When Susan finally came out, it was like in slow motion," says Thomas. "I was full of wonder." Echoes Nancy: "There were tears of joy."
This guy has completely gone female.

Both father and daughter came through the birth in perfect health. "I weigh two pounds less than I did before I got pregnant," adds Thomas. "And I don't have a single stretch mark!"

At home, the couple is adjusting to their new nightly schedule: Nancy breastfeeding (by induced lactation, a process using hormones and physical stimulation with a breast pump) and Thomas keeping company while watching TV.

I think this a complete case of what women can do men can do better. Now move to what men can do that women seem to be doing better.

Women older than 100 to give birth in the nearest future

Women aged 100 will be able to give birth within three decades as infertility is eradicated, scientists have predicted. They foresee a world where every female of any age - from childhood upwards - could successfully conceive. Employing techniques still to be developed, scientists believe they could create sperm and eggs from skin cells and combine them to form embryos.

Parents would then be able to choose a so-called "designer" baby, selecting based on characteristics such as hair colour and height to intelligence and disease-free genes.
The forecasts, reported in Nature, were made by leading scientists who were asked to anticipate advances in reproduction by 2038 to mark the 30th birthday of Louise Brown, the world's first test-tube baby.
Davor Solter, of the Institute of Biology in Singapore, said: "It means every person regardless of age will be able to have children. Newborn children could have children and 100-year-olds could have children. It could easily happen in the next 30 years."
I think women will want this research to succeed, all women get your baby making ass up and support the research.

There is a conspiracy theory going on right now that the younger generations of Nigerian musicians are gradually and systematically easing out the older generation of musicians. It started as mere rumor after the death of Sunny Okosun but was dispelled when Sammy Needle died.
People said that if the younger generation was actually deleting the older generation, how come Sammy Needle died. Not long after that Steve Rhodes died and most recently Oliver De Coque.

It has now been confirmed that the younger guys are actually expiring the older generation and the death of Sammy Needle has been explained.
They said that the whole plot was hatched at the home of 9ice during the meeting conveyed at the instance of 2face. It is said that the meeting was well attended with the likes of Ruggedman, Soul E, Sound Sultan, Mode 9, Nomolose, Omotala, Black Face, Gino, Olu Maintain, P Square, C-Mion, OJB, Roof top MCs, Tony Tetuila, African China, Alaye, Ikechukwu, Elajoe, Naeto C, Sasha.

They told him that he was either with them or against them and since Sammy objected vehemently, they had no choice but to take him out. This was to also serve as a warning to any other discontenting voice.

WHEN 9JA GO REACH THIS LEVEL?

The latest work by New York photographer Spencer Tunick gathered 1,840 people, baring it all in Austria's Happel Stadium on Sunday.

The man behind the camera had three requests for his subjects: no sunglasses, no smiling, and no underwear.
"Stay very still. Don't move," the Austria Press Agency quoted Tunick as telling the crowd as he went to work.


This foto shoot was at the stadium.Much of the hours-long photo shoot had little to do with soccer, with naked volunteers assuming different poses at the behest of the artist. But at least one of the photos had them with the ball, men first and then the women.

The stadium will host seven of the Euro 2008 soccer championship matches being staged by Austria and Switzerland, including the June 29 final.

Tunick has made a name for himself with his works featuring hundreds of naked people at unusual venues. He described Sunday's shooting on his Web site as combining "the spirit of sports, the grand sweeping waves of stadium architecture and the abstract relation of the human form to modern structures."


OBAMA PERSON

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Doris Smith went downtown early Monday to see about getting tickets to Barack Obama's rally. Advance seats were sold out, she said, and the only option was to stand in line for up two hours or more and hope for the best.

Disappointed, she decided instead to go for breakfast - and walked right into Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign stop.


"Oh, I didn't want to do this," Smith said, embarrassed, wearing an Obama T-shirt as Clinton walked into the restaurant. "I didn't know she was going to be here."

Clinton, however, passed up the biscuit counter. She signed autographs and posed for pictures with the mostly older clientele who gathered for a late Monday morning breakfast.


Smith, who lives in nearby Institute, said she liked Clinton but prefers Obama.

"We've got to get the Republicans out of there," she said.

As Clinton left the building, Smith stepped up to shake her hand. She told the candidate that getting a Democrat in office was her priority.

"It's been too long since we have," Clinton agreed, touching Smith's shoulder gently, and smiling.
